scandal lives here

100 ReportersWhat’s not to love about an online journalism site that has two indexes called “Kleptowatch” and “Whistleblower Alley”.

I was hooked after reading the first few lines of a feature story called “Rough Justice in Indian Child Welfare”, a tale of state-sanctioned child trafficking of Indian children in South Dakota. The story looks at the lengths to which State officials will go to protect their lucrative business; threats legal and otherwise, coercion of witnesses, and flat-out flaunting of the law.

But there are a lot of other great stories that I’m finding. Excuse me now. I’ve got to go read some more.
